Why is the christian god just called God?
Why not something snazzy like allah, buddah or zeus?
Does he not have a real name?

It's called language. Different languages have different words.
Jehovah, God and Allah are different people's word for God.
Buddha wasn't a God and Zeus was just the big boss of a whole pack of Gods - like Jupiter.

The original Christian names for God were the same as those of the Old Testament. There are several and are all from the Hebrew language which is linked to Numerology and Gematria, not the later Latin or Greek.
These names are believed to hold certain power so were not made accessible to the common man.
Only those who studied the philosophies and the mystic paths of these religious traditions learnt the "names" and the correspondences associated with them.
It was also considered to sacrilegious to utter these names carelessly or irresponsibly.
So there are other names they are just not used or made easily available.

The names allah, zeus and others are man made names, the name of the one true God cannot be known as He Himself knows it, but Jesus taught us to call God `Father` and also the Bible reveals that when God spoke to Moses He addressed Himself as;`I Am Who Am` which is more of a statement than a name.

God is merely a title, but the Hebrew word for God's name is translated in English as Jehovah.

The name of God used in the (original) Hebrew book, Genesis is: "ELOHIM". The literal translation is something like: EL= qualities of the divine masculine, and OHIM: qualities of the divine feminine.
There were actually a great host of Divine Beings who contributed to our creation... some to further their own spiritual evolution and some for reasons of Love and compassion.
Here are 5 other names for GOD which I am sure you are acquainted with. "Light", "Love", "Truth", "Beauty" and "Life".

Asma Ul Husna (NAMES OF ALLAH)

there is have 99 name of Allah, but i will only give you this:-

AL-WAHID

The One

Your God is One God. There is no god but Him, the All-Merciful, the Most Merciful. ( Surat al-Baqara, 2:163)

For centuries, people who have failed to grasp Allah's greatness have worshipped what they considered to be “superior” and “powerful” beings, such as the Sun or stars. Furthermore, despite all their feebleness, some people even dared to declare themselves as deities. In the Qur'an, Allah gives the example of a man who argued with Prophet Ibrahim (as) about Allah's unity and power. Prophet Ibrahim (as) responded in the following terms:

What about the one who argued with Ibrahim about his Lord, on the basis that Allah had given him sovereignty? Ibrahim said: “My Lord gives life and causes to die.” He said: “I too give life and cause to die.” Ibrahim said; “Allah makes the Sun come from the East. Make it come from the West.” And the one who was an unbeliever was dumbfounded. Allah does not guide wrongdoing people. ( Surat al-Baqara, 2:258)

Setting up any other deity with Allah is not unique to previous peoples, for we see it even in our own time. While modern people do not worship the Sun, particular stars, or similar items, they worship people who are just as helpless as themselves or such concepts as beauty, wealth, and power. They devote their lives to acquiring wealth and never once wonder if Allah is pleased with them. They consider people, other beings, or particular objects as equal to Allah and so clearly associate partners with Him.

Given that Allah is the Creator, no one can make the Sun rise from the West, stop the universe from expanding, hold the heavens and Earth, or create a human being from nothing. Allah is the only God, for nothing that exists can be equal to the Creator. The Qur'an describes the weakness of those who associate partners with Allah, as follows:

O mankind! An example has been made, so listen carefully. Those whom you call upon besides Allah cannot create a single fly, even if they were to join together to do it. And if a fly steals something from them, they cannot get it back. How feeble are both the seeker and the sought! ( Surat al-Hajj, 22:73)

... Or have they assigned partners to Allah who create as He creates, so that all creating seems the same to them? Say: “Allah is the Creator of everything. He is the One, the All-Conquering.”( Surat ar-Ra‘d, 13:16)

... The Messiah, ‘Isa son of Maryam, was only the Messenger of Allah and His Word, which He cast into Maryam, and a Spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers. Do not say: “Three.” It is better that you stop. Allah is only One God. He is too Glorious to have a son! Everything in the heavens and in Earth belongs to Him. Allah suffices as a Guardian. ( Surat an-Nisa', 4:171)

AL-AWWAL

The First

He is the First and the Last, the Outward and the Inward. He has knowledge of all things. (Surat al-Hadid, 57:3)

Does the universe have a beginning? This question has occupied the minds of people for centuries. People who understand that the universe must have an owner believe that it must have a beginning. However, other people do not want to accept the Creator's existence and thus claim that the universe has no beginning. They assert that the universe has existed forever and will exist for all eternity. However, modern science proves that such an assertion is a great delusion.

Although many theses have been put forward for the universe's existence, scientific circles have reached the following consensus: In 1929, Edwin Hubble revealed that the universe is in a state of constant expansion. Following this, scientists deduced that if we reverse the concept of time, we can think of the expanding universe as a closely pressing system, like a shrinking giant star, for instance. In this case, we conclude that a universe that shrinks according to the concept of time ultimately reaches a point of oneness. That is, the universe came into existence when a single point expanded by means of a big explosion.

Given this, we can conclude that our universe has a beginning. Since such a flawless system has a beginning, it must have a designer. This means that the One Who designed the universe is the First and the Last, for He existed before everything and will continue to exist after everything else has ceased to exist. The Owner of this eternal power is Allah, for His name “The First” indicates that He existed before all living beings, planets, galaxies, the universe, and even time itself.

AL-AKHIR

The Last; The One Who Exists After Everything Else Perishes

He is the First and the Last , the Outward and the Inward. He has knowledge of all things. ( Surat al-Hadid, 57:3)

Allah created the universe from nothing and, ultimately, will return it to its initial state and destroy it. Nothing is immortal, for all living beings come into existence for a predetermined period of time and then die—everything, that is, except Allah, Who is the First and the Last and therefore without beginning or end.

Allah, the Creator of life and time, is not affected by any of matter's characteristics. Given that He is infinite, He will exist for all eternity, existed in the infinite past, and is unaffected by time and space. This fact is stressed in the Qur'an, as follows:

Everyone on it will pass away; but the Face of your Lord will remain, Master of Majesty and Generosity. ( Surat ar-Rahman, 55:26-27)

psalms 83:18 states gods name.
Although the Church's don't want you to know it.
You may need to find an old bible to find it as they have changed the bible by removing it
They may use some weak line saying it's because we might mispronounce it .
God wants all to know his name is Jehovah ( Jah) ( YHWH also JHVH in Hebrew)
