Philosophy is not only welcome in Buddhism, it is openly encouraged. So is thinking for yourself and using only what you find helpful.

Philosophy is dangerous to more than just religion. It has utterly destroyed western culture. Thankfully philosophy can't harm anything if you understand that it is based on a serious misunderstanding of how language works.

I'm a Christian and as far as I'm concerned, philosophy is not dangerous to my religion.

Philosophy is a baseless idea but religion is a power message of All-Mighty. Philosophy can't stand anyway.

Philosophy has been studied rigorously by those of my religion in the past and present. Though it just doesn't stand up against the truth of Islam! All praise and glory is to Allah (God)!
