when one says they're saved, there saying their soul is saved from hell.(2nd death) the difference is 1) they have this unbelievable peace, joy and happiness within that money, good job, spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc. cant give, only Jesus can. 2) they have his seal of protection on them, where evil spirits cant dwell in them. they know when they go to Jesus he will hear them. someone not saved would be easier for them to fall into some kind of evil trap that satan has then someone that calls upon Jesus. saved ppl know who to call on when trouble comes, and ppl not saved tend to run to the world. they get medicated some kind of way so they wont feel the pain when trouble comes their way.

it variety of feels that tight in this expression is the equivalent of the only surviving use of the adverb tightly which skill 'soundly, ideal, properly, effectively'. the full Oxford English Dictionary labels the adverb 'now dialectal' and the adjective 'colloquial'. The word stable evening, sleep tight is a super-unfold (rhyming) formulation used while parting for the evening or at bedtime. like sleep tight, do no longer permit the bedbugs bite, and in the event that they do, hit em with a shoe, til they're black and blue. hehe

They are saved from eternal separation from God. God is righteous and man is not and thus a separation from a righteous God and death. God came in the form of man Jesus to pay the penalty fo death for those who accept the atonement. All men are siners and thus the reason for a savior.

It means that Jesus has become their personal Savior and that they are guaranteed a place in heaven. They try to fool themselves that they are not, in fact, a dying organism, by placing a literal belief in the mythology of the christian god.... the big pay-off for that belief is the notion of "heaven", afterlife or whatever you want to call it, so they are buying themselves the comforting idea of immortality.

But the thought of death is an unpleasant one for all of us, so if their belief keeps them from running screaming into the night.... whatever! It's cheaper than therapy I guess!
