Yes it does work. Not to many bananas though- fattening. U still need to exercise otherwise all the weight loss will just look bad. Drink water, not fruit juice! 10 pounds a week easy.

Look at this site: http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/. You'll see that you're at a healthy weight now. If you try dieting, you'll end up changing your metabolism so that you end up weighing MORE after awhile. Also, the fruit diet has no protein, which your muscles need, so the weight you lose will be muscle, which makes your fat look fatter! And then it's harder to gain the muscle back. The whole thing is a mistake. If you want to look better, go to the gym and lift weights to get firm and toned.

Yes, the fruit diet is successful at giving you diarrhea, thus you will lose liquid weight and muscle from dehydration. This is not anything that I would recommend. At 5'3, you do not need to lose any weight, let alone 20 pounds. If you are feeling out of shape, try doing some cardiovascular exercises and swimming.
