It Would be difficult for either, many reasons can explain, but my reason is because Christianity says to accept Jesus Of his Time as the only Savior, and few will want to break that rule. Especially since Jesus was not thought to be a woman..

The belief is that Jesus rose from the dead and went up to heaven like he was born, but he's obviously in touch with his feminine side since he had long hair and wore a dress, lol. Who says a man can't rock a dress?
You can say what you want misses below me, but I'm sure everyone would be fine if Jesus came back as a female, but it doesn't follow the teachings that are believed so that's why people are disagreeing. If you have a belief about something, these sorts of hypothetical questions really don't mean anything. They're either asked for fun or to bait people.

Technically Jesus was a historical person who was indeed a man. Therefore is a woman claimed to be Jesus, there would be good reason to doubt. If God choose to appear as a woman, some people in our male dominated society would continue there sexist belief that God is soley male. Obviously, God can do as he chooses and isn't limited by passing human notions of sex.
I think that if God came as a woman, people would treat her like Mother Teresa: isn't that a kind motherly woman caring for the poor and speaking out against injustice, how naive. Many Christians would take such a women seriously. Perhaps it is to the credit of women that their acts of charity are overlooked by society, but when a man acts in a "motherly" fashion it is considered incredible.

Your idea is nearly right, but nearly doesn't count, and your timing is totally off.
The Jesus who returns to enter through the Eastern Gate will be the same "man" that secured our redemption at Calvary. At his visible return there will be no question of accepting; for every knee will bow of things in heaven and in earth.
He is present in a woman at this moment and the world, including many who call his name, neither see him nor accept him. As it is written, many are called, but few are chosen.

No
By reading the above answers I'd have to say No, Christians wouldn't accept or recognize her.

IF? Erm...if your dad come back as a woman will you still love her (or whatever him?) Will still acknowledge him? For Christian believing, we know God (Jesus) you will recongise HIM even if I have never met Him or even see HIM before. Is not a matter that He come back as man or woman anymore, is a matter of faith how much you believe.

I don't think there's anything in the bible which alludes to that.
If it were to happen, I think those whose hearts were already abiding with Christ, would recognize her. But no, I don't think it's going to be a woman. It's the Father, SON and Holy Spirit.

Maybe. Assuming she could sing, looked good in heavy makeup, and cried a lot.
