I have those dreams all the time. He speaks to me about everything. Many times He will convict me of something I have been in the dark about in my life, and when I wake up I feel this renewed desire to obey Him, because I can feel the urgency of what I'm doing wrong. He is my Dad so He talks to me a lot - I love Him! I would tell more but I cannot cast my pearls before swine, or else people would trample them under foot. Not you of course, but the other people on the forum who don't know the Father.

Back when I was still Christian I was given a dream from the Lord... In it, I was in the greenest series of rolling hills I have ever seen. The sky was the richest blue without a cloud in sight and the lighting was perfect. Then over one of the hills a giant green cross raised up into the sky and a thunderous voice said... "Follow the green tee (as in the letter t)". I felt wonderful, as if being surrounded by warmth and love. I awoke and didn't figure out exactly what it meant until a bit later...

The cross represented religion, the fact that it was called a tee by the voice means that it didn't represent Christianity... the fact that it was green meant that it represented Islam. The voice was essentially telling me to follow the religion of Islam. And this dream is one of my dearest, besides those where I was with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him.) All praise and glory is to Allah (God).

Happens to me all of the time, my dear Cindy. I'd have to pick one. I will pick one that I actually asked for. I'm totally serious although many will call me a freak or a liar. Its the TRUTH.

I wanted to know what my husband would be like. I asked the LORD to allow me to dream of him. (I'm also kinda into Lucid Dreaming as well). That night I dreamed of a man who carried me through a pool or a swamp where I was being tormented. He just picked me up and carried me. I felt so safe. When we came out of the water/muck, he was pulling leaches off of my skin with his hands. He had a bag covering his head. I couldn't see but obviously his vision was unimpaired.

That guy I dreamt about had the very same character as the man I've been married to for 2 years. He'd do ANYTHING for me, with ease and no complaints.

Peace and faith. GOD is awesome!

Sure, several. One, in particular, was when my Mom died. I was home for the weekend and was sleeping soundly. Dreaming, I saw Mom lying on a bed, surrounded by doctors & nurses; they were performing CPR. What woke me up was Dad banging on my bedroom door to tell me we had to take Mom to the hospital. We left, following the ambulance, before dawn. To my knowledge, she hadn't been sick at all in the weeks previous.

Several hours later, after they had finally gotten her into a room, my sisters & I went to the cafeteria to get something to eat. We were interupted by a code call for the floor Mom was on. Obviously, we raced upstairs. By the time we got to the room, they were already well into working on her. What I saw as I entered her room was the same picture I had dreamed as Dad was trying to wake me.

For some reason, Mom's death didn't really effect me the way it did the rest of the kids (I was the youngest, at 14). I mean, I freaked, initially, of course, but by the time we left to go home, I had a sort of peace. I realized God had prepared me for her death through that dream, so it wasn't as sudden for me as it was for everybody else. I think, because of the insight, I was better able to deal with Mom's death & help Dad & the others with the details of planning the funeral, etc.

I've had others since; this is the first one I can remember. But they've all come with the same idea of preparation for carrying someone else through a trying situation, like I had to do with my family.

confident, Christians like various different human beings sin and now and back even dedicate homicide. The degree of a solid Christian is what they do whilst they have sinned. in the event that they seem to be a real Christian than they are going to in many cases repent (admit that what they did became incorrect, do what they are able to to repair the wear, and take measures to end themselves from doing the comparable factor back). Moses and David the two commited homicide, yet they repented and made their peace with God. God called David "a guy after my own heart"

It is not true what another person said.

Most Christians DO NOT claim a special connection or a "hotline" to God.

In fact there is nothing anywhere in the Bible that says God will speak to you directly. He gave us the Bible through which he speaks to everyone directly. That way no one can make up un-true stories about waht they heard from God. Everyone has the same Bible.

God, however, may give us signs or perform miracles of his choosing. But it would not be done to proove his existence, I dont think.

If your question is can it happen yes, you are now in the realm of Christian mysticism. plenty of info on the web. It is about a union with God. I doubt any one would share an experience in this type of forum but you never know. This is a very personal experience between you and God not unless your willing too.

God has healed me of severe allergies. I am 22 and can finally say I am free of medications for allergies, after having to take daily medications including steriods on and off since childhood. Free of allergy drugs for almost 2 months now.
