...i just saw it on Yahoo News. I am sad, but i prayed to Jesus to take her to heaven and out of pain, just a few days ago. Not like she needs any prayers to get into heaven, but lets pray for her family.God bless her family and give them strength. She was a wonderful person, who gave me faith in real "Christians" and not those phoney hypocrites that are too plentiful. GOD BLESS TAMMY FAYE!!!!

Where she is eternally is between her and God, obviously what she is known for- is not a great thing, and the genuineness of her repentance is between her and the Lord.
i'm sad when anyone passes away- because i know that people have families and loved ones, and suffering is not a fun thing! I'm glad that she was able to encourage you to love God more and it seems from other answers that she did the same for others- Praise God for that!
But i'm sad in general when anyone passes away- especially when people pass away without knowing Jesus. Personally i don't know where she stood with the Lord- but that's between her and the Lord and my heart goes out to her family and loved ones.

she was a part of a weird episode in *big* religion. the horrible eye makeup and big shoulder pads kept her ridiculous in most people's eyes. but she had heart and she had guts. i don't doubt that she has met Jesus...
