You love him! He went out of his way to hunt down this thing, and he was so happy and proud of himself he dragged it all the way home to give as a gift to you for all of the love and care and food you give him. Pet him, give him a treat, and then get a couple layers of napkins and throw it away and wash your hands.

Mine has never actually killed a live animal. Every morning I wake up and have toy mice scattered on me and my bed and I go to let the dogs out and as I pass the water bowl, I notice he has drowned my pony-tail holders again. I just laugh. Cats are so funny. He does attack bugs and I tell him to keep on. I don't like having bugs in the house

My cat is like that too she doesnt actually show us, she will eat it and then well.. barf it up later somewhere unfortunatly. I think you are doing the right thing by accepting it, its just natural. Never scold your cat/dog by hitting it or yelling they dont understand us so wont know at all what is going on.

I tell mine the same and try not to get mad even if I am disgusted and mad cause that is one of the greatest compliments you can get from a cat.

my cat always brings animals to my doorstep what i do is point at her and say "NO NO NO!" but you cant really do any thing about this your cat just thinks he/she is bringing u dinner (or he/she is saying "feed me something fresh like this! not the smelly, wet, nasty stuff u give me!! lol) this is her instinct to do this..... i recommend to suck it up and pick up the dead something then through it away (or feed your cat better)

I praise him also and make a big deal out of it. He is so proud, only at my house it's lizards he catches.
