I like to pray.. But how do you put faith in just a prayer? When you put all your faith in that prayer you are doing, it just turns into works dosent it? What should my object of faith be?

Do you believe in Jesus Christ and what He has done for you at the cross? Then it's a done deal... all that remains is for you to put your faith into action. If you are a Christian, it is part of your new identity in Christ as you abide in and live your new life with Him.

Acts 26:18
"to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.'"

1 Corinthians 6:11
"Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God."

Seek the Lord in prayer and ask for His Holy Spirit to fill you. It is HE that sanctifies you, but you have to open yourself up to His cleansing work. And have faith that He really will do it.

Prayer is not supposed to be a religious work or a ceremony or an act of righteousness. You don't put faith in your prayer; you put faith in the GOD you're praying TO. Prayer is simply talking to God. Tell Him your struggles. Tell Him what you're confused about and ask for His help. Talk to Him like you would talk to any person here that you respect and look up to. Believe that He is listening and loves to answer your prayers!

Galatians 5 is a good place to start. Verse 5 says: For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
St. John 1:12- But as many as received Him, He gave power to become the sons of God.
Matthew 11:28-30-Come unto Me all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
For we walk by faith not by sight. Most of all draw close to Jesus in prayer and studying His Word. Trust Him no matter what comes or goes. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Stop sinning, repent of your evil ways. 1Peter 4:1
Yahshua said 'Love God with heart, mind soul and strength.' That is inward. The second commandment is 'Love thy neighbor as yourself.' That is the works. You cannot have one without the other, ie you cannot 'Love God' without it showing in your works.

sanctification means set apart and living holy some teach it as an actual work of grace, it is just dedication of your body to God and to not sin, but to destroy all sin and the works of the flesh
being conformed to the image of Christ is to seek after him and his fullness that filleth all in all, get into the works of flesh and the works of spirit
the nine gifts of the spirit

Galatians: 5

5For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

6For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

7Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

8This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.

9A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

10I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

11And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

12I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

13For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

14For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

15But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

16This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

18But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

1 Corinthians 12

8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

14For the body is not one member, but many.

15If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

16And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

17If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

18But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

19And if they were all one member, where were the body?

20But now are they many members, yet but one body.

21And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

22Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

23And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

24For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.

25That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

26And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

27Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

28And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

29Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

30Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

31But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
