Not necessarily. I was raised in a devoutly Christian home, and was told from earliest childhood that Santa Claus didn't exist, nor did the Easter Bunny. I never believed in Santa, because I was constantly instructed not to.

My parents were fundamental Christians, and taught me from a preschooler that Santa Claus and the Easter bunny were myths. So, no it's not true in every case.

In México Santa wasn't mainstreamed in the central and rural parts until well after the 1980's, and the Easter Bunny isn't mainstream quite yet. But I believe your statement is true in the U. S.

I have been a christian all my life and I never believed in either. They kind of go against what the true celebration is about. Easter is suppose to be the day Christ was ressurected, it has nothing to do with bunnie and eggs and Christmas is suppose to be the day Christ was born not about a fat guy briniging gifts. Sorry I dont know if any of that helped or not. But you should believe what you want!! God bless you!!

Possibly, if they are seclued from secular things like school, tv, internet. But if they're out in the open, with other kids then no. Kids talk in school, when one finds out the easter bunny isn't real...or sees their dad as Santa, then everyoen at school will know.

Nope. I never believed in either and neither did my children. Did I burst your little generalizing bubble?
