I like to answer theological questions with biblical responses.
1) Genesis 1: 1...In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2) John 1: 3... All things were made by Him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
3) Hebrews 1:10 .... And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands.

Read Proverbs 8:22-36. That will take care of what came BEFORE Genesis 1:1

yes, God created everything. That one man is true, yes there was space before god created earth, but it doesn't mean god didn't create it. something had to always be here.. its weird to think about. But I think it takes faith to understand.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."
John 1:1-3
I would say that was a "yes".

The basis of this world yes! But we create also...material things, food (that isn't grown wildly) and of course, more babies/humans. But God is the one who gave us the ability to create!

Nope. How could he create himself. Also in the book of Genesis it says that their was nothing but space when the Earth was created, which implies that God didn't have to create it.

well god certainly didnt create himself, because that would be impossible.
so if he wasnt created, then he either doesnt exist, or he has always existed.
so i wonder why if we accept that god has always existed (and was not created) why we cannot accept that the universe has always existed and/or was not created?
so my answer is no (unless you believe that god=universe and that we are a part of god)
