I like "God wrote the Bible." Someone even answered the question who gets the royalties from Bible sales with "God does". That was classic.
Hate the sin, love the sinner (I say hate the hypocrisy, love the hypocrite).
If it isn't in the Bible, it doesn't exist or can not be real (while they type on a computer).
God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
If you came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?
Why won't you say you believe in Jesus so you can be saved. Jesus will save me if I lie to him?
How can I witness to an Atheist without offending them (ummm you can't).

They seem to be laboring under a misunderstanding of the definition of the term atheist. Atheism is NOT a religion. Atheists are individuals, not members of a "flock".
They seem always determined to lump us together. I think it is because they do not allow individual thinking among their members. A question can be posed to "all atheists" and any number of differing points of view will emerge giving the impression that some are "weak" and some are "strong" atheists. This leads, I believe, to the belief on their part that there exists "strong" and "weak" atheists when in reality there exist only atheists with different viewpoints. What say YOU ?

lol... almost anything from a Christian's mouth sounds pretty stupid to me. The ones that piss me off are the ones where they're like, "Jesus loves you" and "Stop being a sinner or else you'll burn in the pits of hell" and crap like that... oh, and I can tell that they're especially loving when they start on their whole "God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve" BS... ahhhhhh... how blatantly homophobic. Seriously, the love is so prevalent.

My only conclusion about people who think this way is that they are truly unhappy with their own religion, since if they found value and love by following their religion, they would not have any animosity toward others. They are people who probably resent the fact that they believe what they do--probably because they've been brainwashed into believing it.

"Cancer is the reward for sin." I'm a three-time cancer survivor who has heard this one several times--or at least some variation of it. Usually when the Christian who says it knows that I'm an Atheist. My standard response?
"According to Jesus and the Bible, we are all sinners--even you. That's why Christ died on the cross, remember? So using your logic, everyone will definitely get cancer. Do you want my oncologist's business card?"
They don't seem to entertain the fact that I used to be a Christian myself.

I am what christians refer to as a fence sitter. So the most common line I get is "If you're not with us you're against us" They won't acknowledge the fact that fence sitters have the best view of all sides.

Well, I don't really have a query but a damnation. Apparently, since I haven't accepted God as my personal savior I am going to Hell.

i got a death threat once, not on here, but i was skateboarding at a church, and some random guy driving by got out of the car and started yelling at me for "defiling the house of god". things got out of hand, and he said he was going go buy a gun and shoot me (not very christian behaviour to me). it seems a bit unbelievable, i know, but if you lived where i do, you wouldnt find it that out of the ordinary.

This is my answer to any of them:
By some chance there is a God, and he/she/it judges you when you die, you will be judged by what you have done with your life, not by if you showed up at Church every Sunday.
