I am needing a new drafting table because my old one finally broke. I got that one from a family member when I was younger, so I dont really know much about them like--which ones are the best and so on. I also need to find one that is not expensive, but I want it to last for a while for me. I would prefer not spending over 100.00 for one so if anyone has any advice I would love to hear it!

I also want to buy a table easel with all the same specifications...just I would rather that one be under 50.00. Thanks - Amy

Believe it or not, your best bet may be through the 'want' ads in your local newspaper. If you live near a large university or college then you're in luck. Try your local classified ads or your re-cycle paper. You can probably pick up a used (but high quality) drafting table or easel from art students or drafting students wanting to sell them for a lot less than any new ones you could buy.

I've bought three full-size easels this way over the years and still have and use them.
