should i replace turkey sights?

i shoot clay pidgeons competitively and was wondering if the turkey sights on my gun were causing all of my misfortune. my coach suggested replacement but i have increasingly inproved.

NO*, your problem is not in the sight*....You will improve, just keep shooting*... Practice makes perfect*...Trap & Skeet shooter*...

Why not borrow/rent a gun with a modified sight and see how that feels... Then go on with the mod of your gun. :-)
