Where will you be staying in CAli? Well, just incase you're in Southern Cali, and will be around Los Angeles, here somethings you should go see..

1. Hollywood - go see the Star Walk of Fame along Hollywood Blvd, and the famous Mann Chinese Theather is also there. You can also walk aroun Hollywood & Highland, where there's shops and foods, plus by starbucks (next to California Pizza Kitchen) you'll be able to see a glance of the "Hollywood" sign!

2. Universal Studio Hollywood - largest entertainment in LA! if you don't have time to go to the themepark (it would need one full day) then just got to the Universal City Walk, it's nice going there at nightime. But if you do go to the theme park, make sure you go on the Studio Tour, that's something you can't miss!

3. Farmers Market at the Grove in LA - (cross street: fairfax and 3rd) it's also an outdoor shopping center, and at the Farmers Market, you can basically find any kind of food you want. There's japanase, chinese, mexican, french, american, middle-eastern, italian, brazilian, you name it :) Or you can always get out a little bit, there's always the famous Pink's Hotdog. (cross street: La Brea and Melrose), the line might be really long, but it's worth the wait :)

4. Getty Museum - the museum collects and exhibits classical sculpture and art, European paintings, drawings, manuscripts, sculpture, decorative arts, and photographs. but it's really nice, and there's also a nice garden where you can relax with a beautiful setting and a nice view of Los Angeles.

5. Beverly Hills - the famous Rodeo Drive, where you can go shopping, and sight-seeing!

6. Santa Monica - the Santa Monica Pier, has Pacific Park where there are some carnival rides, and a very nice high-ferris-wheel, where you can see the view of the ocean, and the cities from up top, there's also a small arcade. Along the pier, there are some local entertainments and a direct access to the beach. There's also the Santa Monica 3rd St Promenade, and that is an outdoor shopping center, with nice entertainments on the sides.

A little bit outside the L.A area, there's always..
7. Anaheim - is where Disneyland and Disney California Adventure is located, if you're there, make sure to visit Downtown Disney, for a walk. If you're going into the amusement park(s), I'd say you go during the weekday in the middle of the week, it'll be less crowded, and a bigger chance for you to get through the whole park.

8.Buena Park - Knott's Berry Farm, western style theme park with pretty good roller coaster rides.

9. Long Beach - Aquarium of the Pacific, it's pretty nice and neat, there's also The Queen Mary, and go a little bit to the other side of Long Beach, there will be Naples Island, it's like a little version of Italy, you can ride a Gondola there, which can be pretty romantic.

10. San Marino - visit the Huntington Library Park. It's a really really nice botanical garden, there's also art collections there. But the garden is nice, I love it there. And they have a very big and nice Japanese garden. It can be very romantic there too. Keep in mind that they close at 4:30.

Okay, hope that helps! Have fun in Cali!

PS: Staples Center (the home of L.A Lakers) is also in LA - downtown.

In SoCal, here are some things to try:

* Hollywood: The Hollywood Walk of Fame, Universal Studios
* Venice: Venice Beach
* San Pedro: Ports of Call
* Long Beach: Aquarium of the Pacific, Queen Mary
* Anaheim: Disneyland and California Adventure
* Buena Park: Knotts Berry Farm (it's an amusement park, not an actual farm, although it used to be a farm)
* Downtown Los Angeles: Olvera St, Little Tokyo, Chinatown
* Los Angeles museums: There are MANY museums in L.A., like LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art), MOCA (Museum of Modern Art), the Museum of Tolerance, Japanese-American Museum, Southwest Museum of the American Indian, etc.
* Los Angeles parks: Griffith Park, baby!!! It's huge, it's oh-so-huge, and it has the Autry National Center (a museum), the Los Angeles Zoo, and the Griffith Park Observatory (gaze at the heavens!). You can hike, bike, ride horses, play on swings, jog, bbq, and take in the beautiful scenery. Griffith Park is more than 4,210 acres!
* Beverly Hills: Rodeo Dr!!! Need I say more? While most people would probably not afford to shop there, still, it's fun to look around. I was there in 1989 and saw a scarf that was no bigger than 1 ft squared. I never forgot, it cost $215!!!

That's 10 things in Southern California, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Welcome and enjoy!

Los Angeles is a beautiful city. We have so many great places like:

1) You've got to go to "Chocolate Sundae's" at the Laugh Factory at 8001 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, CA for a great evening of laughs. Top comedians perform and it's a real treat. The last time Dave Chappelle performed, he took everyone in the audience out for breakfast after the show.
Every show has celebrities like Eddie Murphy, Ludacris, Chris Tucker, Kanye West, to name a few, in the audience. There are two shows, 8pm and 10:30 pm. RSVP is advised as both shows are generally sold out. Here's the number: 310-746-6275.

2) If you get a chance to party, you've got to go to "Attraction at Nacional" on Wednesday nights, it's one of Hollywood's hottest clubs. Located at 1645 Wilcox Ave., Hollywood, CA 90028. This club has great music, a real good vibe and has minimal wait times in line, unlike some of the other hot clubs that are a hassle to get into. Celebrities, NBA Players and top recording artist join in on the fun at this club. This is a 21+ club, upscale attire required.

3) City Walk adjacent to Universal Studios is so much fun, unique stores, great restaurants. Best time is around 7pm, the lights and activities are a must see.

4) Venice Beach is an experience not to miss.

5) Santa Monica Pier has fun games, rides and is beautiful at sunset.

6) The Rock Store (8 am Sunday mornings) is so cool if you love good food and motorcycles also Jay Leno usually stops in for a bit.

7) The Grove and Farmers Market (3rd & Fairfax) has great stores and restaurants even a movie theater. Every time I've gone, I've seen a celebrity.

8) House of Blues on Sunday's for the Gospel Brunch is the fabulous. Even if you really aren't into gospel, you'll enjoy this show.

9) Beverly Hills is a must, of course.

10) Hornblower Cruise out of Marina del Rey, a dinner cruise is the best.

That's my suggestion. Enjoy.
