Unplug the air bag control module Not reccomended however In some states supplimental air filled restrants are not actually part of the emissions and saftey inspection. Read your states rules. E-mail me if necessary. There are a couple things like meter fuse #7 down on the fuse box and shorted seat switch.

If the other guys answer doesn't work, you might have to break down and go get your airbag fixed. The light stays on b/c your airbag won't deploy on impact - probably cause it's gone off once before - and your suppose to get it replaced after it goes off. Annoying and expensive, I know, but it's what I ended up having to do.
