I read The Secret recently that claims that Jesus was a millionaire. This is news to me. Where did they get this from?

Very unlikely. Remember he went to someone and told them he needed a place to stay for the night. If he was a millionaire, he could have easily got his own housing.

Jesus' uncle was Joseph of Arimathea, who was one of the world's richest merchants, at that time in history.

They figure that Jesus could have simply asked J of A for whatever was necessary, and he would have gladly provided it.

Of course, Jesus didn't need J of A's money ... Jesus needed his tomb ... and Joseph gladly gave it to him.

Probably the same place they got the idea He was married, had children, didn't rise from the dead, went to India, etc.. From their darkened hearts. There is nothing in Scripture, nor in the writings of the church fathers that would indicate this. Utter nonsense.

It sells books to the gullible who have a sense of entitlement and want something for nothing.

Totally against what I read Jesus to say.

Well it is true that a carpenter was a skilled worker in the Roman era. That would have placed his family as upper middle class at least.

Jesus can be whatever you want him to be. That's an amazing ability that fictional characters have.

Those are Anti Christ persons or organization.. They are on the side of Satan who wanted to destroy belief in God but they will not be successful because goodness will always reign.
