No, instead, we should have stricter controls.
Correction: there is no third world country. There is only USA as the superior one and the rest of the world.

They are already OPEN, especially our famous southern border. Uncle Sam continually refuses to enforce the laws written in The United States Code that pertains to any and all illegal immigration into our country.
Ever hear of the NAFTA, CAFTA, FTAA agreements?
Well, they are coming to pass and so is our national sovereignty as a nation.
The North American Union of Mexico, United States, and Canada will soon take place and we will all become slaves and peasants to the rich and the federal government.
All of our Interstate systems are on schedule to become huge multi-lane toll roads. The Trans-Texas Corridor will be the first of many. Shipping ports will be relocated to southwest Mexico to allow the dumping of cheap Chinese imports onto the North American continent, and then transported north by trucks and railways along this super transportation structure.
The Longshoreman's Union on the west coast of the USA and most of the current trucking jobs will be absorbed by and into cheap Mexican labor.
I believe at some point all hell is going to break loose when real working people start to realize what Big Businesses and our own governments is quietly doing to our country and infrastructure to forever change the American dream into dust.

That seems to be the BIG plan between the Bush administration, Canada and Mexico. Of coarse because Mexico is the third world country they will benefit the most while Canada and the USA suck wind.
