I want to gain like 3-5 pounds, however, I am a vegetarian so I do not eat red-meats. Chicken & turkey SOMETIMES.

What are some fattening, HEALTHY food choices that will help me gain a few?

pastas & fried rice before bed. Eating any thing after 10pm is a good way to bulk up.
so hit the late nite sushi & Thai places.

You're not vegetarian.

Chicken and turkey aren't vegetables.

I know that has nothing to do with your question, but I'm vegetarian and bugs me when people eat animals and call themselves vegetarian. Ask any real vegetarian, they all feel pretty much the same way.

I guess you could try eating more starchy food like potatoes, bread and pasta. I'm not sure why you would want to gain weight unless you know for certain you are underweight.

You could also exercise more, muscle weighs more than fat.

these are so many foods that are high in calories and fat grams yet still vegetarian and even vegan and you don't even have to kill any animals to gain any small weight or even to get fatwow right..! :]
eat lots of whole wheat pasta, avocados, nuts, peanut butter sandwiches, stock up on rice and eat it all the timeee, eat lotss of bananas, over dose on pretzels, drown yourself in soy milk, if you are lacto vegetarian then eat a large amount of cheese, double your fruit intake.

****EDIT:Some how i missed the part where you said "i eat chicken and turkey sometimes" the first time i read it.
i agree with majnun99 100%!!
you ARE NOT vegetarian.
vegetarians do not eat any animals not matter how big or small. a chicken is an animal and turkey comes from them too. please do not call yourself a vegetarian. thanks. :)

Don't think "fattening" foods. Just eat more healthy, calorie-dense foods. Nuts are high in calories and protein. Eggs. Cheese.

Just be sure to exercise too, like lifting weights. Building muscle will help you look better.

rice will get you weight good, better as in black rice with beans, etc. But if you want to gain weight while exercising, you can always take protein drinks.
