It means two friends having sex without any emotion attached. This might benefit to those who only love sex and both parties does not have feelings for each other. However, it gets complicated if one starts to have feelings.

But just because he is asking you to be "friends with benefits" doesn't mean that he's ONLY having sex with you!!! You should ALWAYS have protection for youself. Hope this helped.

friends with benefits isn't really something u want to get mixed up with. its easier on guys than on girls, just for the simple fact we get attached really easily. friends with is basically a make out buddy, and even a sex buddy. one thing for sure is that somebody always ends up catching feelings for the other person, that's where things get complicated because most times the person just wants to have a good time and doesn't want to commit to a relationship!

It pretty much means selling yourself for cheap and alot of emotional heart break. But also that the guy only considers you as a sexual object and has no real interest in dating you at all. But you make for a really nice f*ck for him though. My personal view is to never accept a offer like this especially if you like the person. If they can't treat you as a person worthy of their time in more than a sexual way then, do not even deal with them.

What he meant is that both of you are unique in a way that you both can benefit from each other's insight and intellect, as opposed to having a friend who is stupider or immaturer than you so that you can't learn anything from him. And conversely, one of you isn't so much smarter than the other that the smarter one doesn't benefit from his/her friend's intellectual presence. You both are mutually beneficial to each other's intellectual and emotional development, that's all.

"Friends with benefits", also known as "Friends that f**k" refers to a relationship in which the individuals engage in sexual activities with one another but are not exclusively dating, nor do they necessarily possess intimate feelings towards each other. Rather than fulfilling a emotional needs, this type of relationship is geared towards purely fulfilling physical needs.

Well.
This is a complicated thing.
Basically, friends with benefits are two people
that are friends that hook up.
i.e. Sex, makeout sessions, etc.
But aren't emotionally attached to eachother.
So that way, if it were to end, or something were to happen,
there would be no akwardness, or complications.
Does that clear it up?

You and that person get to do all the "naughty stuff" without having a realtionship or any emotions attached to what you're doing. It's not a good thing to have with someone you like because although you are doing things you like with him/her, there are no emotions in your relationships and it means he/she can be with other people. Yeah...not all that cool....
