Your never going to get a 100% unbiased review because it ultimately boils down to someones impression.You can get a good idea of how well the dvd player performs and what functions it has by reading a variety of websites from c-net to epionions to consumer reports.You can also check on circuit city for consumer opinions of a particular product.With some homework you can decide which one suites you best.

I would suggest Secrets of Home Theatre and High Fidelity ... the reviews are pretty objective.
