When I was a child, I was spanked by my teenage babysitter. She had permission and exercised that permission regularly. She was not brutal, in fact I got worse from my mom; she just spanked often.
Just like from mom, it was bare bottom and over her lap. The main difference was that she used her sandal to spank me; mom used her hand.

yes. My grandmother spanked me and my brother when we were at her house and our parents were at work. Our babysitter at the time also had the right to spank us ( I almost got a spanking from her for not listening and not going to bed)
