Well, you are a minor so, depending on where you are, the law may say it is. Morally, I can't judge that. You know who you are to each other and whether or not it's right so you go with that....actually, go with what your parents say first, even if you disagree.

I don't think it's a big deal, as long as your parents are okay with the relationship (assuming you live at home). Remember that being 16 and in high school can be very emotionally different than being 19 and working or in college. Keep the lines of communication open, and don't skip out on the fun high school stuff... even if he doesn't want to do them with you.

incorrect, not strictly conversing. even although, a sixteen year old and a 19 year old are many times at very distinctive factors of their lives. If the relationship keeps long term that many times places an excellent tension on the relationship. And if the relationship turns into sexual, the regulations and the potential of babies can incredibly complicate issues.

It would be OK if it had started when you were 16. 14 is too young to date anyone, esp. an older guy.

Nah I don't think so
17 and 14 is a bit bad but as you get older it doesn't matter so much I don't think
I'm 16 and I'm with someone who's 21 - so hey it could be worse!

At 14 it's not called dating. And yes, he's too old. I hope your parents aren't allowing this.

If you guys are okay with it, and your parents are okay with it, what's your concern... someone must not be okay with it and it may be you? If your internal person was okay with it.. then I don't think you would be asking the question. I personally don't think it's that bad.. three years isn't that bad.
