The Bad news: CNN recently announced that over 30 million people are addicted to the internet to the point of threatening their health in various forms.
The Good News: If at times you get burned out or bored by the questions on R/S, then you are not clinically addicted according to most "Internet Addiction" studies.
What say ye?

I do get bored sometimes but then I just go do other things. There is so much more out in the real world!
I really don't care about other people's opinions and just like to laugh at some of the answers I read. Some people are sooooo serious. They need to lighten up.

Yeah, The questions are often times a little lame, partially due to the fact that many of the Atheist generals, seem to have gone to never-never land. (probably being interrogated by the Yahoo Brotherhood). Often times I feel the possibility of an addiction, but I know beyond any shadow of a doubt, that God has sovereignly placed me here, first and formost to both share and defend the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am very aware of other good things that He is working in me,to better serve him, through the participation in R&S.
I very much enjoy being witness to and part of the community of Christians who post here regularly..and who each has a role, with unique giftings and talents that are used by Lord Jesus, to further the Kingdom of God.

I get bored when my peeps aren't around to keep me grounded and a little more accountable for my words. I have a rare form of Tourette's Syndrome. You can ask B. Bobby if you don't believe me. We apparently are on the same medication. I still prefer my horses to the computer, so am I off the hook or should I find a 12 step program?
Edit: I can't ride my computer but to it's credit, I never have to clean up it's poop. Is this a trick question?

I guess that I am not addicted then, because I sure get bored when I can't find a reasonable question to answer. Sometimes I have to sift through pages and pages of stupid questions like FSM and muffin mania.

I do get burned out. I will spend hours on here, getting lost in it all. But I can quit whenever I want...I think.
So many questions are repeated so many times on here, but I am still drawn to them like a moth to a flame. I enjoy communicating with people on here. There are so many unique experiences and points-of-view.

I guess I am not addicted then, but, does it count if you just get so fed up with really uneducated answers that you change your home page to Google for a while?

Bonsai Bobby said it best for me :)
I come here for study idea's and links (yup...addicted to research in Bible and on-line) as well as answering a few questions here and there... mostly read the answers (yup...addicted to reading) and praying for folks (yup...addicted to praying)
ummm...come to think of it that's a LOT of addictions... (will have to talk to Father God about that....)
LOL as for Eaglewoman's comments, get plenty of practice shoveling up certain smelly stuff here at R&S as well as cleaning up after dog outside/kitty pan inside/and constantly on sniff alert to grandchildren's smelly problems as well, LOL
Peace be with you all :)
