I am short so I need something with a high heel, but I want something comfortable. I'm just wondering if the silk is too dressy for outdoors. This style also comes in a satin fabric so maybe that make more sense. What do you think?

The dress I'm wearing is a strapless organza A-line. You probably won't even be able to see the shoes anyway!!

I bought these same shoes for my outdoor wedding (and also from Wedding Party Shoes), and they were SO comfortable! I ordered the Ivory Silk and they looked great with my dress and did not appear too dressy at all. I think you will be just fine and glad that you went with a wedge heel.
By the way, that is a great site to buy shoes. I also bought all my bridesmaids' shoes there, and the owner was great in working with me to get all the shoes shipped out to different parts of the country. Some of the girls even had to return them right before the wedding and were able to get new sizes just in time. I was really pleased with the customer service.

The picture is tiny but I think they are cute! I could never pay 150 for a pair of shoes but I have a defective girl gene when it comes to that sort of thing :)
It doesn't look like the straps would be too painful and a nice wedge heel would keep you from getting stuck in the grass but still be tall.
Get the satin...it will be easier to get grass/dirt stains out. Also, silk can get a run if it a stick snags the material.

I think they would work. If you are going to be walking on grass, keep in mind the grass might stain them. They would work better than a regular high heel because a high heel would sink into the ground.

I think the silk will get dirty... but wear what makes you happy. I totally splurged on my wedding shoes -- they wear a silk peep-toe sandal with a crystal accent -- I loved them. (And my now sister-in-law wore them for her wedding too)

My shoe fetish aside, those are very pretty! i like that they're wedges, especially since youre looking for ehight. i can't tell you how many of my friends have worn stilettos to outdoor weddings and sank into the lawn.

Unless it's a really casual affair, I don't think there is any such thing as too dressy. If you like them and can afford them, I say go for it!
They really are adorable!
