Tammy Faye is dead. I did not like many things she did and was not of her religion, but can we at least not make rude remarks about her? She was a human after all with the same hopes and desires as we all have.

She has family and friends who cared about her and they at least if you don't like her deserve our respect.

She made mistakes, yes, but don't we all?

Willthethrill:

As I said she did things I did not like, but her family deserves to have respect thown.

There is big money to be made in religion in television especially if you have the right gimmick or personality. She must have had something because she made huge amounts of money. she also had a gfall with her husband jim. She never recovered to what she once was.

I am a firm believer in debts being paid for example Jim her former husband went to prison and paid his debt and her fall from her empire was in a way a debt paid. There are many people wh are willing to give their money to people who say the right things and that must be a very huge temptation to some and honestly I am not sure if I would not give in to that temptation if it presented itself to me.

Moderation:
I knew people would react the way they have. while she and Jim were together I said many hateful things about them but they paid their debt and both had a fall neither recovered. I saw a clip from her interview and she was in much pain, I will say many things when a person is alive and I will say even more to peoples face, I do not hide on the internet and am actually more outspoken in person, but I understand what your point is many come on the internet just to be rude and harrass people while others speak their mind and opinions like myself and I am sure you also, we will make some mad but hopefully we will also encourage others

I know I make many mad and that is not my intention.. Honest opinions anger some and encourage others.

I was never her fan as I think I told you before. I didn't like what they did to my next door neighbor who was elderly and "loved" them and sent them money.

Suffering is horrendous to watch in those you love, It's also hard to watch in your fellow human. If we would take the time before we speak and realize that our human fellow being is struggling with issues just like we are, and has their own road to travel in this place we call life. I think we would come away realizing that we all travel this road in a way that is designed for us to learn. And maybe, just maybe we would consider that our way isn't their way, Nor is it meant to be.

Not a person alive that hasn't made mistakes, Nor is there anyone out there that has the total truth either.

So for that I can say that although she didn't influence my life,
she was my sister in that she and I traveled this place in the same era and we survived it's trials and overcame it's domain in our own way.

Blessings.

I saw her interview with Larry King, and I honestly could not watch it - poor thing, only 65 lbs; all I could see was pictures from the death camps in WWII and the people looking that way. And I know she thought the makeup helped, but it really didn't.

I thought she had cojones the size of a house to get on TV when she was so ill, and let everyone see her that way, and speak once again before she died. I was actually concerned that the effort she made for that show actually hastened her death - but with all that pain, I wouldn't be suprised if she welcomed death with open arms.

All blessings to her and the comfort of death - for the first time in many years, she is finally pain free.

She made mistakes, but she also helped countless people. easy to forget that.

I am at a loss as to why you felt humans would not react as they do to hearing about TFB(M) death.
I am glad you are surrounded by good humans, as I am not - I daily see terrible actions and words taken/spoken against good people. My view of humanity is pretty bad, rarely am I surprised people will do the worst, given the chance.
Especially on the internet - being all hidden and nameless - many will say things they will not in the light, before their GOD.
So by you knowing people that are good - this helps me keep faith that humanity with time may spread this quality around the world. You may be my family of Lot, but at least there are good people on this planet.
Thanks.
Peace to you.

I know I answered a few such questions, then I gave up.
I don't like when people condemn me to Hell. If I was to do that to her, I would be a hypocrite. I think if anyone who finds joy in another's pain and suffering, that speaks volumes about them and not the deceased.

Thank You,Wiccan Rider, for your kind words. All humans deserve respect if for no other reason than the fact that they ARE human.

Thank you, Wiccan Rider.
You're a true gentleman.
I cannot believe anyone with any sense of decency would rejoice in her death and make fun of her.
How crude and rude of some of these people!

I hadn't heard.

Her soul is free now. That is good.

Yes, she was a nutter but she had a lot of spunk and courage. A strong woman and I applaud her.
