Well if money wasnt around, people wouldnt love it and there will still be evil! So evil just isnt from loving money! Anyone can say they love something, but it does not mean a thing! The creators of money knew what they were doing!

Peace, Love, and Soul, thanks for the answers

Read your Bible closer:
"The love of money is the root of all evil."
It's all about your attitude & motivation.
Problems come from trying to get more money.
Or hanging onto the money you have too much.
Being generous with your money creates peace & love.

I think you have been mis informed. Money according to the Book of Ecclesiastes 7:9 It is for a protection, but wisdom is longer lasting
Protection is not bad!
I think the scripture that has been misquoted to you is:
1 Timothy 6;10 " For the L O V E of money is a root to all sorts of injurious things, and by reaching out for this L O V E some have been led astray from the faith and have stabbed themselves all over with many pains.
So you can clearly see that it is not money, there are many rich faithful people, but it is coveting the money that is the problem! Needing the money to fulfill some worldly desire!

The verse that is quoted from actually says the love of money is the root of all evil--that is if you put your love for money over every thing else that will lead to evil.

1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Obviously, you have not read the verse or are purposely misquoting it. It is the "love" of money that is a root of "all sorts" or all kinds of evil, not all evil. When Adam and Eve fell in the garden and sinned, was there money involved? No. When someone commits adultery, is there money involved in that sin? Usually not.

The actual quote is as follows:
1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

In other words, coveting material wealth as one's ultimate priority leads to all sorts of problems.

It's always best to take a quote from Scripture in context.

Money is not the root of all evil. It is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil.

Big difference my friend, but it is a mistake many people make. I think the rich spead this one around so you won't feel so bad about not having any.

It's not money that is the root of all evil but the love of money. See 1Timothy 6:10

Money is not the root of all evil. The *love* of money is the root of all evil. It's all about the greed. Money itself is simply a tool to get things done.
