Sorry my friends I could not resist some fun tonight.

What we really need to do is to create some new drinks, so that at least we'll have some variety. Think about what we've got here! If you can go into a bar and order a Dead Nazi or a Sex On The Beach, why not shake yourself up a Crocoduck? We can also have a tall Pascal's Wagner every now and again. I, myself, like the idea of mixing up an Existential Blues. Let's get cracking on some recipes!

The real reason there's still Monkees is because people older than me are trying to relive their youth, so a lot of the old bands (hell, even bands from my generation) are making a comback and touring again. The Monkees, Bay City Rollers, all those folks.

First of all; evolution doesn't say we came from monkeys. The theory says we have a common ascestor with the apes. (Monkeys and apes are different). Also, there are Christians who believe in evolution, not just athiests.
As for the reason there are still monkeys and apes, is that they fill certain niches in their environment. We, on the other hand, control our environment, thereby halting the need to evolve.

Well Mike Nessmith won't perform with them any more so they really aren't The Monkees any more. Davy Jones still looks young though.

The Monkees are a musical group. I don't know about you, but none of them are my parents.

*sigh*

We did not come from "monkeys." Monkeys are a different species all together. We are one species of many in the primate population. Every species has had a different evolutionary path.

Yes, we must laugh at ourselves every now and then.

It's nice to know that there is humor among the atheist community.
