Peter tells us his return will mark the end of this universe. "Flesh and blood" will no longer exist.

2Peter 3:7 BY GOD’S WORD THE HEAVENS AND EARTH OF TODAY ARE BEING RESERVED FOR FIRE. They are being kept for the day when God will judge. Then ungodly people will be destroyed.
8 Dear friends, here is one thing you must not forget. With the Lord a day is like a thousand years. And a thousand years are like a day.
9 The Lord is not slow to keep his promise. He is not slow in the way some people understand it. He is patient with you. He doesn’t want anyone to be destroyed. Instead, he wants all people to turn away from their sins.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. THE HEAVENS WILL DISAPPEAR WITH A ROAR. FIRE WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING IN THEM. God will judge the earth and everything in it.
11 So everything will be destroyed. And what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and godly lives.
12 Live like that as you look forward to the day of God. It will make the day come more quickly. ON THAT DAY FIRE WILL DESTROY THE HEAVENS. ITS HEAT WILL MELT EVERYTHING IN THEM.

When Jesus returns He will be flesh and bone, but not blood! He shed his blood, his life, on the cross for yours and my sins. He IS the only begotten son of the Father God, and the Father God is "spirit" not a blood man. His life is GLORY, so JESUS' blood was really the glory of ALL life. Jesus is forever a flesh and bone MAN glorified!! Which is exactly what we will forever be! When we are born-again, this "blood" thing is over in the spirit sense for us also. Remember, our life in the flesh is in the blood. We are NEW creatures and the life we now live is by the grace of Jesus Christ. The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death. Sin and death is a "blood issue" which (man's blood) was marked by sin through Adam's treason. Jesus paid the sin price and now what flows through us is the glory (by faith). The key to all freedom in Christ is FAITH that what Jesus did is truly applied to YOU and ME.
In Romans we are told that we are DEAD and we live by the life of Christ. In Colossians we are told we are dead (in flesh sense) and our lives are hid with Christ in God! He took our sin (blood marked) and gave us His righteousness (right standing with God). No blood, now glory! Receive it by faith! In Ephesians we are told we are "flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone". When we partake of the "blood" of the communion, we are partaking of God's pure blood, which is the LIFE of Christ, the glory of God! See?

No, the Scriptures say he will return in the same manner that he left. When Jesus was caught up in the clouds, he ascended to heaven unseen. Jesus is a mighty Spirit person and is invisible, he will return as this mighty Spirit person who is king of the Messianic Kingdom.

Absolutely. He established that he was not just a spirit but flesh and blood after his resurrection, and left in the flesh and blood. He will return again (and not long from now) in flesh and blood, and rule in the body as well as spirit.

He will return to earth as he ascended into heaven--in His glorified body with His wounds. When that happens, we will not have to worry about wars as there will be peace upon this earth as He will take over the running of His creation.

I expect Him to return. I don't believe it will be in the flesh though. He will, as I understand it, be quite a bit more spectacular.

He already did. You'll find it in the book of John. Hundreds of people saw Him after His ressurection.

But when he comes back as judge!? Yes.
