What is a troll?

On Yahoo Answers, what do you mean when you call someone a troll?

I know it is a negative thing. I have not been called a troll, but I'm curious as to what that is.

I don't know exactly people throw that word around a lot when it comes to questions they do not like. I asked a simple question the other day wanting honest answers and got accused of being a troll and hateful remarks but I was accused of being hateful and rude. That's the way it is if people do not like your opinion they try to demonize you.

Trolls are people who reason complication on the internet besides as in here. They catch human beings in here to respond to their questions do not using fact they are in a position to get your account suspended and say the person disobeyed the community policies and words of provider Trolls are human beings doing inflammatory messages Yahoo solutions say do not answer questions like first one to respond to this question 20 factors.

the three billy goats gruff was a nersery rhym with pictures and back in the 40s and 50s when the rhyme was in its prime the pictures were pretty groosom. these weren't very lovely looking half man half beasts,and they held this one bridge hostage , everyone had to cross the bridge and the troll wanted to eat them all, but one by one they told him to wait for their bigger older brother who would be so much more satisfing , but now we think of a troll as some one shaking there fist with a very ugly look on there face stomping one foot after the other in a kind of humped over posture un able to controle their fits of rage ,,,

Or someone who, like my answer above, is best ignored because they contribute nothing valuable to the forum.

someone who trolls the board with rude comments , sometimes they will clone other members or make repetitive copy pasted posts

occasionally we have our fun troll , who post harmless witty questions though .... those guys are cool

When someone asks a stupid question, usually a racist one.

Ex. "Have you guys ever...."

and then when you click on the question you see the rest of it says something like ".....noticed black people are 'racist comment here' " They just troll around being idiots.

A person with multiple accounts who doesn't care about the points on YA. Many of the best question came from this weird persons because the have nothing to loose.
