I need to lose as much as I can in 40 days. I tried dieting last week..didnt even lose a pound. according to my scale. my diet consits of

Breakfast Bowl of cereal (honey nut cheerios)

Lunch Salad with tuna. fat free dress..

dinner chicken and rice.


I also run alot. I NEED HELP!!

cut out all carbs and you will start ketosis a process where the body burns the stored up fat allowing you to lose alot of weight.

Eat small meals at least 5 times a day and write down what you eat or go to fitday.com and just add the food there and they add it for you This helps me out alot.
1st week eat
1,200 calories
33 fat
90 carbs
135 protein

2nd week go up to
1,600 calories
60 fat
130 carbs
160 protein
Stay on the 2nd week til you reach your goal in weight.
I did this and lost right at 20 pounds in 6 weeks.
I also worked out 3 times a week at Curves.
I have lost a total of 30 pounds and over 30 inches with in a yr.

instead of running try building muscle. Muscle is anabolic, which means it burns fat even when you're not working out, for upto 39 hours. You dont have to become a huge person, just 30-40 minutes of lifting will get you very good results and you can eat a lot more than that once your metabolism boosts from gaining muscle.

Drink lots of water to help keep your body hydrated and also to reduce water retention. Avoid salty foods also. Keep eating breakfast every day
