I'm a huge fan of Micheal Parkes work and was wondering if there were any similar artists that anyone knows of. Any ideas are appreciated!

I agree that Michael Parkes is a very good artist. And you're asking if there are any artists similar to him? Actually there are many who have created in the style he uses and it's highly likely that Parks was influenced by those who came before him. It was a style that came into vogue during the 1920s and showed up in anything from paintings to magazine illustrations.

The original, and still the best, American artist who painted in the fantasy realism style was Maxfield Parrish. Every fantasy artist since has pretty much been influenced by him and/or has copied his style. And Parrish was a far better craftsman than Parkes is.
