Hinduism is a very vague religion and reading responses here I find that not even the adherents can explain it.I noticed one Hindu stated that there is no claim that it is the true religion:would you buy a TV if you didn't believe it was good? There are many ways to go to the North Pole, but there is only one short way to go there from where you are. That must be the truest way.

No one ever made that claim. I'm Hindu, but I'm not saying it is the "true religion"; because there is no such thing. It is a belief system where you find God in yourself, appreciate all that is around you and give thanks to the almighty. If you are really interested, I recommend reading the basics on Wikipedia and reading the Vedas (the oldest sacred texts in the world). Good luck.
BTW- Hindu people don't care about what they believe in is right or wrong (such as how some religions look down on others for example) it is basic moral principles and having a one on one bond with God...it more of enlightening yourself than preaching.

Hinduism is more of an idea. A careful study of Hindu philosphy would uncover a series of influential thinkers that helped define the religion. In much the same way that Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Paul define Christianity.

Religion can help a person and there are a lot of them out there. Different ones for different people, but some are not right for some people, and some people don't want anything to do with any of them.

If it had even one thing going for it:
It can be shown to have roots from 10,000 years ago, and is the oldest currently practiced religion on the planet.
I'm an atheist so I don't buy it myself, but, it does have a reasonable arguement for it.

what logical reason could you have for becoming a Hindu? The Bible proves itself over & over again by prophysing & then fulfilling those phrophicies its a book that has definate non human origin. take for instance the 1st 2 scriptures only recently has sicience regonized them as true (Genesis 1:1-2) . . .In [the] beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth proved to be formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of [the] watery deep; and God’s active force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters.
