Write a chorus and a few more versus and you would have a great praise and worship song.

To me, all poetry is awesome. But i think it's really, really cool that you can express your faith through poetry. The Lord listens, even if the words are in verse! God bless.

Here's one of my own. It's not the best of poetry, but i like it myself.

Flame

I have a flame,
a flame in my heart.
It burns fiercely,
giving much needed strength.

I feel it with love,
love of who I trust the most.
It burns with passion,
passion from above.

He sacrificed for me,
I'm willing to for him.
Yes, I'll spread the word,
to those who need it.

Flame, keep on burning.
This is when I need it the most.
I'll always have the fire,
deep inside my heart.

Keep the faith, brother.

I think it was beautiful. The only difference I would make is change it to know when to stand my place, instead of know where to stand my place (as in know when not to give in or "bend"). Other than that, it was great. You are very talented.
If anyone does make a mean comment about it, just ignore them. They are not worth your time.

Well done pork chop, you wrote a good poem,
You honored your God, you call Him your own.
may He bless you today and bless you tonight,
and when you're inspired, and poems you do write.

God bless you! Keep up the good work! Cap'n Arlo

This is what it is, isn't it? which is to say that it is at least apt; at most, on point.

You know one thing, next to telling someone that 'you love' her or him, which is the greatest thing to express of all, especially should you be one to show this by demonstration, the next best thing to emote and enact is 'Thank you.'

That you feature in your last line of your poem, with the word 'loving' in tandem.

Had you not spoken another passage, this last one does succeed at the entirety just by itself.

Did you make this poem? I think it is really beautiful. And I would like permission to write it down and keep it. Thank you for sharing it.
