its been two years since this night he held me till i slept because i was so upset about catching my x cheating(they r mutual friends)He really liked me,i really liked him,my x knew that and was flipping out about it,so he stayed away and did not pursue me nor did i pursue him.2 yrs later i drank too much and called him and told him he was'eating me alive'he was shocked and said he had no idea and that it was mutual,he kept telling me how beautiful i am,but he started seeing someone and he wished he had known.that was 4 months ago and i have stayed away and he has not contacted me.so i assume he has moved on and im still lingering about him,is there still something between us,should i give up or wait for hope?

Maybe hes playing hard to get..and thats just stupid, call or email him and tell him how you feel.
I think theres something there, and he knows it too and is almost afraid of it.

Do both, That meaning you move on and see what else is out there because you don't want to be desperate and needy. Also, there is nothing wrong with hoping and wishing. If you feel like that something you want is what you need and will only benefit you because you deserve what's best for you. Always ask yourself this question: Is this something I really want? And if I get it and it doesn't work, then what? It's dicey but upholding you pride and dignity is more important that anything.
