Hey, no ****! I live in California. You'd think that if anyone is carrying the weight of illegal aliens on their shoulders it would be me, a high school loser who competes for jobs and wages with illegal immigrants! But no. I dont blame illegal aliens for my scholastic **** up and subsequent future in crap jobs. I always hear people crying for me, sayin things like illegals take all the jobs from people like me and illegals drive down wages for people like me. But as far as I know there is no such thing as high school dropouts against illegal aliens, or stoners and slackers against illegal aliens. I think that deep down inside, most of this demographic knows that they, and no one else is to blame for their limited job opportunities. Believe it or not, high school losers such as myself have employment standards. I wouldn"t be caught dead working a drive thru, much less picking produce in the valley. Still, when i got off my sorry *** and actually went out and looked for a job, I could always find one. Its not that hard. Dress to impress, eye contact, A firm handshake, feigned enthusiasm. I once worked in a cabinet/sweat shop alongside guess who? The dreaded illegal immigrants! Theyre not so bad! They were cool people actually. I've looked into the whole wage depression thing and so far, ive learned that even for schooled economists, its difficult to say exactly how illegals have affected wages for people like me. Ive read the reports about taxes paid versus state services used and again, things are left out here and there and certain things are emphasized to work in some favor. Its funny isnt it asker, everybody complaining about the burden and crying no amnesty, when its obvious that all illegals will not be deported. What then is the answer? Its not simple,thats all I know. Moving on.

It's not that simple. Even If they are regular citizen, they will cost us more than they contribute, because they are poor. It's the middle class that contribute more tax than they receive. The illegal immigrants also cost us more, because they have more health problems and they cost more in education. They aggravate the problem since they are additional laborers, which means they drive down labor cost and therefore income. They then reduce the tax revenue. I heard the pay for construction has spiraled downward because of them. They are still paid more than minimum wage though. I think you are accusing the wrong people of being hardheaded if you think the answer is that simple.
By the way, you should play sim city. It would help you understand that every arithmetic increase in population would cause a disproportionately higher cost in maintenance. My example of this is water. THe initial population would get the river water. THen you have to dig a wall. Next import from long distance. Next is recycling waste water. After that you need to desalinate. Each method of obtaining water gets progressively more expensive. LA is getting to the point it needs to desalinate. That is a very expensive means to otain water.

I do not want all the illegals turned into legals. They should stay in their own country. Our government supports too many dead beats now. But, I understand why they would want to be here, Free everything.
