um, in the beginning of my current relationship i was very immature and had low self-esteem and i put up with a lot of stuff that i should not have, now i'm more mature and have a clearer mind, and he's been really good to me lately, but once in a while i'll think about the stuff that he's done to me and i get mad and a little mistrustful(not only about cheating), even though i know things are better now. it's been going good for like 4 months now, but am i right to hold a grudge? if not, what should i do?

if he has been better, and you have definately grown in the process too, why hold a grudge? i would thank God that things are going better for the two of you and work to keep things on track for even better tomorrows. holding a grudge will just start to destroy your relationship. let it go and show him that you appreciate him.

You hold on to that grudge as long as you want you earned that right for everything he put you through. Forget about all the people that will tell you to forgive him.If you can 't forget then how can you forgive. You can still love someone with all your heart and not forgive them I no because I have been doing it for over 10 years now. I'll never forgive my husband and he knows that but it doesn't mean that i don't love him because i do very much so. If i was to forgive him to me that would be saying that it's OK what he did. That's just how i feel about it.

It's alright to hold a grudge, but eventually the grudge will probably interfer with the relationship, so be careful with it, and be sure to step back and look at the realtionship before going on with the realtionship.

I KNOW EXACTLY HOW U FEEL...READ SOME OF MY QUESTIONS..WHAT I DO WHEN I FEEL THIS WAY IS I STEP BACK AND GO TO ANOTHER ROOM AND THINK ABOUT HOW GOOD THINGS ARE NOW.....REMEMBER THAT ITS BETTER NOW,,,,IF U REALLY LOVE HIM,IT WILL GET BETTER.....TIME HEALS ALL PAIN ..IT WILL GET EASIER.... GOOD LUCK

Is that all, four months? I could do four months standing on my head!

Give it more time. Trust isn't rebuilt quickly.
