I need to convert aup file to mp3 file so I can add songs to my phone because my phone wont except aup files I need to make them into mp3 files so how can i do that

Use LAME MP3 encoder. Download it and extract it to the audacity folder, go to options and point it to the lame.dll file.

I use iTunes. I have the advanced settings to convert to mp3 when imported. It does a great job. It's free, and you don't need an iPod to use iTunes.
