When the Lord tells you to give up or leave him or her alone. "Do not cast you pearls before swine"
Anyway why waste your time on someone who doesent want God. There are so many others and the workers are few.

If you are spending all the time you have to witness to one person, then Satan has beten you.
I hope this puts things in perspective.

Matthew 10:22 explains the one "enduring to the end will be saved." Our total life is the basis for salvation, not just one point.

The old saying "A broken clock is right at least twice a day." comes to mind. It still remains broken and worthless. Why should any thinking person believe once saved, always saved? Is that even a little reasonable? NO!

A person can not expect to do anything they want to and still have God's favor. That goes against everything the bible tells us about God's viewpoint.

Witnessing means helping a person in different ways. So why would one want that stopped? I try to do things on my own as much as possible; but, I don't turn down any help that is offered. I would be crazy.

Witnessing is like planting seeds. Sometimes you can't see that you have done something for years, sometimes you might never know. People are never beyond salvation, look to Paul who slaughtered Christians only to become one.

Witness all you want to me, but please don't argue endlessly in an attempt to save me when I'm already saved.

I once saw a born again fundamentalist really pissing of a Nun because he apparently thought she didn't understand how the whole Jesus thing works.

At some point you guys have to believe us when we tell you that between us and God we have it covered. To continue is to call us liars and show your intolerance of things you don't understand.

Blessed Be!

The point is death. Until then, remain hopeful. But don't badger. That doesn't work, and it drives people farther away. "Live out loud," as someone said. :-) And pray. And be ready to give an answer for the hope that is in you. And leave the rest to God.

When a person is baptized, he is saved.

A person who is baptized may be living in sin, in which case reconciliation would be needed. This is between that person and a pastor, and as a layperson your "witnessing" responsibility would be to encourage him in that direction.

Forgiveness of sins does not *require* a pastor, but for a person who has been living in unrepentant sin that's really the route he ought to take for lots of reasons, such as the need for counseling and accountability, as well as being restored to full fellowship with the institutional church.

NO ONE is beyond salvation, God wants to see all of his children in heaven so even if you don't see them, pray and when you do be the God-like person and show them what Jesus would want.

Good question. If, when you mention Jesus Christ as personal savior; they go blank and into a 'trance' and stare at you....Say no more..and get out of there.

S/He is a goner. They've made a long series of serious choices and are beyond redemption. Let them go.

While on earth, the gift of Salvation is given to anyone who accepted THE LORD JESUS CHRIST as his Savior. On one hand, under THE UNITY OF THE FAITH and under THE WORDS OF GOD and in distinction under THE TESTIMONY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Christianity), those other believers of GOD whose heart has been planted the spirit of etenity as having been redeemed by the blood of THE LAMB, salvation to them will be given in the soon coming KINGDOM OF HEAVEN starting in the year 3500 when THE LORD JESUS CHRIST will reign over the earth-universe continuum. On one hand, the physical manifestation or sign that you have completed your witnessing or preaching is when in physical sense you and that person have reached a personal conflict (business) not spiritual one. This actually signifies spiritually that you have completed your witnessing to a particular person or groups of persons and so move on to another person.
