i have the exact same problem..i have HUGE calves...seriously....and running only a mile wont help...you have to run more...not necessarily hard...but running over 30 minutes can help make them look more lean...but i have found that swimming does that even better..just get into a pool and swim several laps or several up and backs...i've recently just been hurt and not been able to run for a while but i'm able to swim...and my legs look a lot leaner than they did...when i was able to run

In a way yes but not very much. Running is a toner and if you run a mile a day in about 2 weeks your legs muscles will be rearanger to be more compressed, causing more muscle and less space inside your leg

I agree with mom. Running a mile won't make any difference in your leg structure, but it should help your endurance and recovery on the soccer field.

Rejoice in your muscular legs! You might think they are too buff, but other people find them very attractive. Go ahead and run so you'll be an even better soccer player!

Running less than 20 minutes does absolutely NOTHING for your body.

running adds muscle to ur legs and reduces fat levels....it wont slim them down unless theres alot of fat in them
