Why is there no religion section in such big-name news sites as cnn.com, foxnews.com, or cbsnews.com? Is this an implied commentary that "news" in religion is either (1) not important, or (2) not appropriate to be placed with other news?

That's a good question. There's usually a "religion" section in most newspapers.
Perhaps the makers of the news sites feel that news that involves religion should just be mixed with the rest of the stories to make it all politically correct.
For example:
Imagine a religion section in one of these sites. In a week it covers a few Protestant stories, a Wiccan story, and a Muslim story.
The Jews will complain of being left out. The Muslims will claim that the story misrepresented them. The Protastants would likely crab that Wicca isn't a real religion and doesn't deserve air time. Someone's bound to cry about the Christians getting more air time than the others.
News site goes back to placing all stories with religious themes back into mainstream stories.

Just as well, IMO.

There religion section would probably be as "accurate" and "fair and balanced" as the rest of their reporting.

Oh excitement! A historic previous lesson from somebody who of course won't be able to study. enable's count selection the conspicuous blunders of fact: > no one "had their land stripped from them." Upon formation of the prominent Israeli State, some Arab Muslims left whilst the Arab League advised them they could (because of fact they have been going to invade.) people who remained are actually conventional as "Israelis." They vote, carry workplace, are individuals of the legislature and purely commonly have extra rights than do any Arab Muslims everywhere else interior the middle east. > "the final worldly view of the Palestinians is amazingly unfavorable because of fact of there" habit. > Israel kills NO Palestinians in any respect different than in counter-strikes against "Palestinians'" launch sites and different protective strikes. > "Palestine" has in no way BEEN a rustic and present day "Palestinians" nonetheless REFUSE to be one. > NONE of their land has been "taken away." A SMALL minority - reported above - LEFT "their land" on their own accord yet almost the finished "Palestinian" inhabitants are exiles (and their descendants) from JORDAN and EGYPT who have not got any ancestral ties to the land they are on NOW nor to the land in Israel you shop asserting is "theirs." > there is not any similarity in any respect to the community individuals. If Canada and Mexico sent their criminals over our border and those human beings claimed to be "community individuals" and constantly initiated acts of conflict against our cities THEN there could be a similarity. > Islam has this way of unfavorable view in society because of fact it has spent on a daily basis for the final 1400 years CULTIVATING that view.

Yes.

These organizations are secular, and religious stuff doesn't belong there.
