i mean not trusting someone else's findings but learning everything only via direct means of own experiments. Although this does require a whole lot of faith in one's own abilities.

Well, it is possible, but why would you want to 're-invent the wheel"? Are you referring to spiritual knowledge? Yes, it is possible, but it is also possible to miss the experience entirely because you were expecting one thing, and you got something else. That is what is good about reading a lot; you get to learn from and avail yourself of other people's experience, without all the baggage. They do say that one gains good judgement from experience;but how does one get 'experience'? From BAD judgement.

Yes,it is possible. We need to research everything and make sure the facts are straight. Using others research and checking it out is the way most people do it. Definitely do not just believe what we hear and read. Gideon

It's one's experience's that is passed down from one to other,one teaches another what they experience so on and so forth.I would say it's possible.
