I have control but only to some extent. You can do everything right and still end up failing. A lesson I learned the hard way.
Note I dont let god control my life.

I've learned to let God in control of everything in my life. I mean he's greater than every man on earth because He is the Creator and King of all Kings

We are on this earth with free will. We are in control of our lives and destiny by our actions today.
Metaphors aside i do not understand this question. God (or God-ess however you care to view a supreme being)helps those who help themselves.
When are you going to let go of this religion based on hierarchy and return to your pagan roots? Get closer to nature and enjoy the life you have been given? Will you accept this challenge to enjoy your life and do nothing to prevent others from enjoying theirs?

Lets see if I let go of my mouse and let god draw house plans for me how much work would get done. Then when I'm poor from "letting go" and I'm standing on the corner begging for change maybe I'll ask god for some more help, lets see what comes of it....ill get back to you.

No. I control things because I don't abdicate my responsibility for my actions to anyone else. The ultimate cop-out is to blame/give credit to "god" for everything that happens in your life. You not only never learn to own up to the things you do, but you also never get the boost in your self-esteem that comes from doing something well. In effect, you miss out on the passions and rewards of life.

Yep... 1st step exactly 4 years ago on the 30th...
It's so refreshing to have a higher power. It allows me to focus on the things that I do have a part in... and let go of things that result in negative, addictive thinking.
