Remember that obnoxious kid that nobody wanted to play with? You'd just keep being mean to him/her until they got the message and went home?

Is god gonna just "stick around" even though we make it clear we don't need him? What the heck is his problem? I thought he was all-knowing and stuff?

Some of you will get the irony of this question, and some of you will take it literally and spew all kinds of hate and silly scripture at me.

I tip my hat to those of you who "get it."

Well, if you are talking about the Christian god, in the old testiment "he" supposedly abolished the whole human race a couple times. But isn't it funny how the new testiment calls "him" a loving, forgiving, and kinder god. Two differant gods maybe? Ponder that one.

Well, I won't "spew all kinds of hate" at you, but I certainly wouldn't mind throwing scripture at you. Though I don't believe I will as you would just laugh. But yes, God will love his people forever no matter what happens or what we do or tell him. And believe me, the world needs God more today, then ever before.

Yes He is. He created ALL of us He is our Father whether you confess Him to be or not. If you are or were a parent and your child told you they hated you and told you to get lost, you would still love them right? Well this is the God that I love and confess as my Father He loves us all no matter who we are, He doesn't like some of the things that we do, but He loves us!

He will still love. Do your parents still love you when you tell them to get lost? most likely yes. One day you will come to realize what your parents said was for the good. That is unless your parents are crazy or evil themselves.

Since God is all-knowing (omniscient), and thus has full knowledge of the past, present and future -- and put us here anyway -- then I guess He's in it with us for the long haul.

UNLESS, of course, He put us here as His short-term pets...

No. God will just kill us all. It's kind of like when you were a kid and you had this toy that didn't satisfy you playful needs, you just threw it away didn't you? Well God feels the same way.
