that would depend on their affiliation. if they are reform, there are female rabbis. conservatives have female rabbis as well. orthodox don't. women don't participate on a communal level in orthodoxy, or in chassidism. the closest that a woman in either of those groups would be called is a 'rebbitzen' (essentially, 'mrs rabbi) there is a 'morah' which would be a teacher, (moreh would be a male teacher)

addition: pugwash.... jews don't talk about jesus, ever. it's not something we do, or want to do. so, quoting the new testament, and jesus, isn't germane to this question. it's sort of like asking about rabbis, and having someone come in and answer that priests and ministers, and imams are doing or saying something.

rachlg is right. In Reform, there are female rabbis...I'm Orthodox so I'll keep my mouth shut on THAT matter. But in Orthodoxy, there are no female rabbis. We have the "rebbetzin" which is a title a rabbi's wife can assume and yes, she can have an active role in the Jewish community IF she wants to--she can perform the duties of a rabbi (like listening and resolving conflicts in the Jewish community) on the female side of things. So like, women can come to her to ask for a Jewish decision if they don't feel comfortable going to her husband. Her word is not like binding in Jewish law, though.

(1 Timothy 2:11-15) Let a woman learn in silence with full submissiveness. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach, or to exercise authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 Also, Adam was not deceived, but the woman was thoroughly deceived and came to be in transgression. 15 However, she will be kept safe through childbearing, provided they continue in faith and love and sanctification along with soundness of mind.

This does not mean that a woman cannot talk about Jesus. Just that she cannot act in the role of a Rabbi or religious teacher...from the pulpit or platform
(Psalm 68:11) Jehovah himself gives the saying; The women telling the good news are a large army.
