And no one understands you and there aren't any worms in the garden to eat.

When you find out that your favorite friend has tapped your telephone.

When everyone sings better than you do, including your best friend who is a violinist, for pity's sake.

When you somehow lost your new bottle of shampoo on the way home.

And please don't answer with "What the f***?" because I do not know what that means and you know I don't.

love,
Lakshmi

p.s. It's a rough Saturday night and it's going to be an even rougher Sunday morning. I can tell already. Will you please find my oboe? It is missing. Thank you.

Hey pumpkin, I totally get it!!! Sometimes we get caught up in our everyday "tragedies" and take them way more seriously than we should. When we are caught up in the moment we tend to forget that it is really not that serious. Try to take a moment to think about something that is very innocent and precious in your life ... like maybe a child or a sick person or perhaps a homeless guy that you remember...or even a sad song that might highlight the real suffering going on in this world...Basically Sweetie...just take a baby step outside of yourself just for a 'sec...and you may realize that ...your "rough" day...is someones'
dream day!!!!xxxooo

a)Time for a new favorite "friend."
b)If everybody sings better than you, you aren't a great singer. I wanted to be an actor when I was a kid but discovered that I wasn't good at it. So I did other stuff. It turns out I was good at that other stuff.
c) Its lame to lose a new bottle of shampoo. I just lost my car keys and spent days looking for them. Finally I called a locksmith and had a new set made for 100 dollars. Now today I found the keys in a shoe in my closet. What can you do?
Oh yeah, the question: or rather the answer: I take a nap.

I am so sorry that you're having such a rough time! Hopefully a good night's sleep and some sunshine will help you to get a better perspective. I have also heard of keeping a journal called a "gratitude journal" where you simply write things that you are grateful for. Then when times are hard you can look back and count your blessings. I hope this passes soon!

I go to my special room I did up just for me,shut the door, turn on my favorite music, curl up with a cuddly stuffed animal, look at the things on my wall, and totally let the world turn on by itself for awhile while I get lost in the sounds around me.
Sounds corny but at least I do exactly what I want for a spell.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

Curl up with a bottle of good red and either watch French Kiss, Out of Africa or Two Weeks Notice.

i pamper myself. i get a bottle of wine and light candles around my bath tub, get in turn on the TV (i have one in the bathroom) and lose myself in a movie or TV show for the better part of an hour, if i still feel like i want to get off I get my fiance to get me a blizzard from Dairy Queen and wallow in the yummy treat.
As for your oboe i havent seen it but i will keep an eye out for it. Cheer up!

you just got to keep your head you and stand tall summer, spring , and fall. You just got to think that you are lucky to be where you are and have people that love you around you. There are other people that are in the worst situation than us so we have to be thankful for everything we got. I understand what you go through and i feel that way when thing aren't going the way it should be.

snails are better than worms.
only the FBI/CIA can tap your phone

Go buy another bottle of shampoo
and your oboe has most certainly left the building if that's how you carry on.

Jello shooter fix everything. One bottle of vodka plus two packets of jello and two hours in the fridge. Drink the extra vodka while you wait for the jello shooters to set up! Voila! No more problamo!!!
