You're going to need to try to be a little more disciplined about your cravings!

One way to help is to eat smaller meals more often throughout the day and healthy snacks. This will curb your appetite and make you less likely to binge on sweets or junk food. If your method of dieting is to starve yourself all day for as long as you can, your body is going to go nuts craving food and when you finally give in you are going to overeat and choose all the worst kinds of foods.

Your best bet is to keep your appetite satisfied when you get hungry with healthy foods and lots of water. When you do get those little nagging sweet cravings, have some fruit or a tiny piece of candy. But don't overindulge! It will get easier in time.

Oh, and keep the sweets out of the house. Then when you have a craving you will have no choice but to get over it!

Good luck!

One thing that I've started doing recently that seems to be helping is slicing up an apple into four pieces and eating it one piece at a time. Apples are tasty and when you slice them up, they take at least 10 to 15 minutes to eat. And better, they do seem to satisfy.

You need more protein in your diet, this will be more long term satisfying and you won't get the growlies for sweets.

It takes around a week of suffering to get over the cravings. Carbs crave carbs, and when they get out of your system, then you don't crave them anymore.

You can go to the doctor and they can give you medicine for it. Or either dont buy any junk food, get some one else to buy your food.
