Jesus did know. He said he did not come to bring peace but division. He said that many would claim to know Him but at the time of judgement He will say to many, go away from me I never knew you. Even the early Church was already showing division at the time of the Book of Revelation. Read the letters to the churches to see this. He also knew that the Church He founded would stand true throughout.

Simply because it there is controversy doesnt mean it isnt all part of the events that are supposed to happen. Satan is the father of lies and confusion which means that for every one truth, Satan will try to flood as many deceptions as possible. The bible gives Christians solid guides to tell truth from error but many people still hold on to error because it is convenient to their own heart.
For example, the bible clearly says homosexuality is an abomination to God. Yet why do some church's preach that is okay with God?
Everyone must have a personal relationship with Christ and follow his Word , despite the other gospels that are out there

It's abundantly clear. But people get religious and fall away from God's word. This seems to be a part of our nature and even good intentioned people will get off track. But for the most part, as long as Christians believe in Jesus as having died, resurrected, meeting the requirement for the forgiveness of our sin, that is the foundation. Anything that takes away from that is false doctrine. False teaching was a problem even as far back as in the first century church. God always makes a way for his truth. It's a simple matter of following it and not getting distracted by all the nonsense.

If there is no debate then there would be one church organization. Think this through logically from every Christian standpoint you can. That is a very bad idea. Even major issues, after years go by, often seem foolish. The main debate is between Christians and non Christians. Different churches have different approaches to that. That is a good thing.

What is there to debate? The Christian Essentials are not to be divided over. Secondary issues can be vigorously debated. Focus on Jesus Christ, and you'll be fine. A Christian can not live in the past. "For look for what is yet to come, the blessed hope."

Yes, a divine person would have had special knowledge of future events and would have done something to prevent the confusion among sects. After all, he would have known that there would be eventually many different sects worshipping him. Just another of the many innaccuraries and flaws in the story.

There is another problem—one that many might dismiss as superstitious nonsense. The instigator of rebellion against God is still inciting people to badness and selfishness. He is Satan the Devil, and Jesus Christ called him “the ruler of this world.” (2Â Corinthians 4:4)

The more you learn about the stories of Jesus, the more convinced you will become that it was and is, all BS.
