I am planning to tour the country to promote environmentalism and help show people the small, daily changes they can make in their life to help the environment. Would you come for a 45min-1hr presentation on this topic if it happened to be taking place at an audatorium/school/venue near you?

Oh I am going to sound like a jerk...NO...I do the same thing, I teach Greenhouses and garden centers to use beneficial insects first! before pesticides! The only way I can get an audience is to hook up with a horticultural trade show venue.
Usually I have a professor of Entomology beside me for the proof of actual brain cell production. when I tell people to use BUGS in their GREENHOUSES.
Realistically I get so sick of the same GLOBAL WARMING, gonna die message, that even though I know it is true, even though I am trying to head off the problem by teaching BIO- DIVERSITY instead of pesticides. No, I would not go unless it was part of a bigger venue worth my participation. For instance, something that gave me credits towards maintaining my pesticide licenses! SORRY! I am not gonna lie to you!

Sure. I've been to many such presentations. I encourage you to try to connect with local environmental organizations, as they can handle logistics and also drum up an audience.

I would and I have.
Unless the cost was prohibitive, It would be hard for me to find a reason not to go.
