I believe your book would be categorized as Fiction in the book business.

Also it's a far cry from "if you wrote a book," to actually getting it considered for publishing, then getting it published and printed. You'd have to get an agent and pay a lot of money before you make any...that is IF you make any.

I don't think the money matters, I think that it's the spirit that you bring or take away from people that matters. By them paying you, you would be considered responsible for influencing their demise, be it taking away their faith or influencing people to become indifferent to one another. They're paying you for your labor for writing the book, but you'll be paying far more for bringing this book into existence.

It all depends on how you list it. If it is untrue then classify it as fiction to solve this problem. If you are speaking of the Bible then that is a harder one to prove. Many things in the Bible are proven to be true while many are not and even seem utterly ridiculous. However, it is very hard to disprove a lot of it due to its age...which also makes it even harder to prove. I personally believe that it is mostly fiction but like I said it is hard to discredit entirely. Also, the Bibles creators may have truly believed what they wrote...which is unlikely and still no excuse for mistruths.

I distinguish between fiction and a lie. To qualify as a lie, all here would desire to acquire: - The fact is fake. - The utterer knows that it is fake. - The utterer intends to lie to. - The deceit is meant to be to the disadvantage of the listener. against those standards, your tale won't count extensive kind as a lie.
